I couldn’t disagree more.  I’ve been missing baseball like crazy.  During the season, I fall into a pattern of watching the ballgame every night.  I’m not a big sports guy by any means, but I really become obsessed with baseball.  This has translated into my fascination with sports media, specifically talk radio.  The ebbs and flows of the long season create a six-month narrative that results in either heartbreak or jubilation.  I’m a Met fan, so we tend to hope for the best but expect the worst.  That said, let the trash talk begin.  Lee, phuck your Phils!

Today is the first day of Spring Training. Baseball’s season finishes at the end of October.

I love my team and all, but if they made the season shorter, it would really help my sanity.

Another eight months of manic depression. Thank you baseball! I can’t wait!!!
