Eighth Grader Fights Bullies With YouTube Video

An eighth grade girl in Westport, Conn., has reportedly created a YouTube video as a mute protest against bullying.

The girl behind the video, 13-year-old Alye Pollack, has drawn thousands of views and hundreds of comments to her clip.

The video evokes Bob Dylan’s short film for “Subterranean Homesick Blues” as Alye holds up a series of signs to tell her story and make her point. “Will high school get worse?” she asks in one sign.
