No matter what you think of religion, you have to admit, Huckabee owns Maher in this interview.Bill Maher completely forgot to take Religion 101 and decided to debate a former pastor. Amateur hour. It’s like watching Randy Johnson pitch to a Little Leaguer. It’s interesting watching Bill’s body language trying to compensate for a lack of an argument. When Huckabee makes a point and Bill laughs instead of presenting an argument it speaks loudly.
This debate would have been much more entertaining if Bill Maher had a clue of what he was speaking about.
I’ve always enjoyed Huckles as a person. I think he has awful, awful policy positions most of the time, but I think he raises some interesting points here. Bill, sort of does too, but clearly not his most polished interview. Good jerb, Huck.
I posted this approx. a week ago. But I’ll ReBlog it again with this question: Where actually was Maher “owned”? What did I miss? Please, don’t tell me it is that lame argument that there would be no charitable acts if not for religion.

The scariest thing about this is that Mike Huckabee has his own show. Whose genius idea was that?
