Hey high schoolers, save your PJs for slumber parties, okay?

Administrators at [Mount Anthony Union High School in southern Vermont] have banned sleepwear from school after too many students began showing up in pajama bottoms.

 “Some of the kids got a little bit too casual,” said David Beriau, the associate principal. “What originally started off as lounge pants ended up being pajamas with Daffy Duck and Tweety Bird.”

And to complete the outfits: slippers.

School officials say pajamas are more conducive to snoozing than studying and they worry about the slippers in a large school with slick hallways and lots of stairs.

Wow, I knew I was getting old but this pretty much solidifies it. I actually had a John McCain, grumpy old man reaction to this.
