9 P.M. (Current TV) 50 DOCUMENTARIES TO SEE BEFORE YOU DIE
Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me”) is the host of this five-part series, which counts down 50 of the most powerful documentaries from the past 25 years. He also takes to the road to revisit the people featured in films like “Paris Is Burning,” “Hoop Dreams” and “Exit Through the Gift Shop.” The tally begins with Nos. 50 through 41 and a meeting with Billy Mitchell, a star of Seth Gordon’s “King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters” (2007), about a couple of die-hard video game fans competing for the high score in Donkey Kong and the governing body that validates the winners. - NYTimes
