Go Daddy?
Hey guys, I know Tumblr had some hiccups this morning but I always have connection or slow loading issues when using my custome domain name: brooklynmutt.com. I just removed it and I’m using .tumblr, and now it’s working fine. Is this a Go Daddy issue? Should I change hosts? If so, who do you guys recommend?
P.S. Am I locked in with Go Daddy? I know I renewed for two years not long ago, can I remove my domain name and use a new host?

you can but godaddy is notorious for making it difficult. Get a friend who knows his/her stuff to do it.

Dunno much about Go Daddy or custom domains (or anything, for that matter) but Tumblr was acting a bit strange for me too. seems fine now…

same problem here so do not change your host. Go daddy is one of the best there

I think all the Tumblr blogs are having problems. The Political Notebook and Pantsless Progressive were lagging earlier.

You can- you’ll need to log into godaddy and find the “request transfer” or “enable transfer” option, then your new DNS manager will let you

I’ve never had any trouble with Hover.com, and had nothing but trouble with GoDaddy. Just my two cents.
