He missed the vote. He took a walk on the vote to provide supplemental funding for our soldiers,” “He put our soldiers, our men and women in the military, in harm’s way and, in fact, maybe he wants them to die.”

Florida Republican Kurt Kelly is slamming Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson, suggesting that his absence during a war-funding vote might mean the freshman lawmaker actually wants American troops to die.

One day, a Republican operative offers $100 to anyone who’ll punch me in the nose.

The next day, I get a death threat.

After Fox News spewed its usual clownish hatred about me yesterday, my office received a call. The caller told our receptionist - a young intern - that “10 people are going to kill the Congressman within 24 hours.” We gave the information to the Capitol Police; they are investigating.

Fox. You’d think that they would have learned their lesson after Dr. George Tiller was killed. And they did learn a lesson: a lesson in killing.

And why? Because I told the truth: the truth that by stalling on unemployment insurance, right-wingers revealed themselves to be heartless, selfish wretches, who have been taking food out of the mouths of children.

I don’t know. You know, on the Internet there’s an acronym that’s used to apply to situations like this. It’s called “STFU.” I don’t think I can say that on the air, but I think you know what that means.

Rep. Alan Grayson Telling former Vice President Dick Cheney to “STFU,”

Matthews: Well, give me the first part.

Grayson: “Shut.”

Matthews: Oh! I got you. Stop talking, in crude language. Well, I don’t think you’re gonna get him to do that.

Alan Grayson, the Liberals’ Problem Child
On paper, Representative Alan Grayson, a freshman Democrat from Florida, seems a bit stiff: degrees fromHarvard and Harvard Law; a résumé that includes clerking for the United States Court of Appeals under Judges Antonin Scalia, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Robert Bork; an advocate for the aging.
But in recent weeks, Mr. Grayson has catapulted himself to national renown for outlandish rhetoric and a pugilistic political style that makes him seem less staid lawmaker than a character on the lam from one of his Orlando district’s theme parks…

O’Reilly producer chases congressman who called Fox the ‘enemy of America’

On his show Wednesday night, he ran footage of an interview shot by a producer in the halls of Congress, where he caught Grayson coming out of his office.

“I wanted to ask you what you meant when you called Linda Robinson a K Street whore,” Fox News’ Griff Jenkins queries.

“You’re gonna have to make an appointment with our press secretary,” Grayson replies.

“Will you now apologize to Vice President Cheney when blood drips from his teeth?” asks Jenkins.

Rep. Grayson calls lobbyist "K Street Whore" on radio.

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) is under fire for calling a female lobbyist a “K street whore” in an interview recently aired on the radio.

Speaking on the Alex Jones radio show, Grayson lashed out at Linda Robertson, a lobbyist fighting against Grayson’s effort to audit the Federal Reserve.

“This lobbyist, this K Street whore, is trying to teach me about economics,” Grayson said, noting that he himself had worked as an economist.

Well, my response is—and, by the way, I have trouble listening to what he says sometimes because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he‘s talking.

But—but my response is this. He’s just angry because the president doesn’t shoot old men in the face. Oh, by the way, when he was done speaking, did he just then turn into a bat and fly away?
