“I now think the odds are better than 50-50 that both Rick Perry and Paul Ryan run.”
“Can I go out on a limb, since everyone else is scared to say — actually make any predictions. I predict Palin will not run. I have no knowledge at all; I just have the hunch that she ultimately will not run.”
The FBI Suspected Bill Kristol's Dad of Consorting With Soviet Spies
Irving Kristol, father to Fox News talking head Bill Kristol, was the intellectual architect of neoconservatism, a fierce anti-communist, and staunch Republican. So why did FBI counterintelligence agents investigate his contacts with a suspected Soviet agent in the 1980s?
“MSNBC’s suspension of Keith Olbermann is ludicrous.
First, he donated money to candidates he liked. He didn’t take money, or favors, in a way that influenced his reporting.
Second, he’s not a reporter. It’s an opinion show. If Olbermann wants to put his money where his mouth is, more power to him.
Third, GE, the corporate parent of MSNBC, gives money to political organizations. GE executives and, I’m sure, NBC executives give money. Why can’t Olbermann?
Perhaps Olbermann violated NBC News “policy and standards.” But NBC doesn’t have real news standards for MSNBC—otherwise the channel wouldn’t exist. It’s a little strange to get all high and mighty now.
But there’s now a Republican House, and perhaps GE is trying to curry favor by dumping Olbermann?
Republicans of the world, show you believe in the free expression of opinion! Tell the crony corporatists at NBC—keep Keith!”

“Look, it was a bad accident but the fact is I think we get one-third of our domestic oil from the Gulf, from offshore drilling in the Gulf. We need it. We can’t cut back on it,”
“If we want to have some onshore drilling we have this thing called ANWR up in Alaska which is right there. There is no waves, no ocean. It’s right there and perfectly easy to drill. A lot of oil there. I’m a drill, baby, drill person,”

These guys who throw the Anti-American label around quite often should really look in the mirror. They advocate for all kinds of policies that hurt America and American citizens. You know the list, wars, environmental policies, their anti-healthcare stance, stripping away privacy rights with programs such as the Patriot Act. etc. etc… I mean where is the love? Oh, I guess if you measure the love that I am speaking of in dollars and cents I guess you can point to taxes. But are they really for tax breaks for average Americans or just the top one percent? I guess what I am asking is; are the Bill Kristol’s of the world just projecting? Are THEY the people who really hate America?
It doesn’t address the problem that led to the financial meltdown and that problem can be addressed I think in conservative ways, through bankruptcy law and possibly through breaking up the banks. I think Republicans do need to be a little radical on their side in thinking through what the right solution is, but I’m not so convinced as everyone else that President Obama just gets to say Goldman Sachs bad, this bill anti-Wall Street. Everyone support this bill.

Closing the embassy in Yemen last night — I mean, I don’t — you know, no one wants State Department officials to be put at risk and all that, but that is a sign of weakness.
Closing the embassy? We can’t protect our own embassy in Yemen, a place we have Special Operations forces, a place we say we’re working with the government on the front lines of the war on terror, and there’s a terror threat and we close the embassy? That’s a victory for Al Qaida.

Mr. Wrong, Bill Kristol Gets It Wrong Again:
“I think he (Pres. Obama) has made up his mind, and I think it’s going to be Jennifer Granholm, the governor of Michigan.”
however Kristol does go on to say “and if you bet on that you are a foolish person”
