Ed, just from a political perspective, do you think the president of the United States going into reelection wants gas prices to go up higher? Is there anybody here who thinks that makes a lot of sense?

President Obama, when asked by Fox News reporter Ed Henry about critics’ charges that his administration actually wants higher gas prices in order to wean Americans off fossil fuels. Obama then added he wants to get gas prices lower “because they hurt families.” (via dcdecoder)
