What, exactly does it take for Nike to dump a jock? Dog-fighting will do it. After Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick pleaded guilty to running a felony dog-fighting ring, Nike took action. “We consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and unacceptable,” the company said at the time.

uumm wasn’t it Arianna Huffington I saw on a recent Real Time with Bill Maher decrying the coverage of such non stories like ‘Air Traffic Control Kid’ and ‘Balloon Boy’. I guess Tiger’s ‘wood’ is BIG enough for Arianna.

so much analysis, months of it asking whether or not this policy or that policy (health care, energy plan, etc) has been ‘sold’ correctly and crap like this gets wall to wall coverage. I don’t want the media to sell any particular policy but a ton of the blame for America’s ignorance lies with them.
