Krystal Harlow of Raleigh, N.C., was the winner of Playboy Enterprises’ first-ever Miss Social contest, a four-week competition in which entrants creatively promoted themselves online “in an effort to increase their social graph and secure votes.” Harlow, a fashion merchandising student and aspiring model, used Facebook, Twitter, and foursquare and also hosted a variety of local events, which she promoted via social media, to capture the most votes.
