High-res producermatthew:

After two years of brainstorming and planning, I’m incredibly excited to announce the newest project by ProducerMatthew.com: Radio Joe.
Radio Joe is a new music experiment launched by ProducerMatthew.com on August 9, 2011. There is no format and no commercials — just quality music waiting to be discovered.
Radio Joe is a standard MP3 broadcast in 128k stereo and can be listened to on ProducerMatthew.com, using iTunes, WinAmp, Windows Media Player, QuickTime and on most mobile devices.
Radio Joe is still very rough around the edges and is constantly being developed and improved. If you have suggestions for Radio Joe, email radiojoe@matthewkeys.net or drop me a message here on Tumblr.

Conservative Talk Radio Is Dead (Limbaugh, Beck Ratings Dive)

The Young Turks/MSNBC host Cenk Uygur explains how new (more accurate) radio ratings measurements show that right wing talk radio shows are not doing well.

I can’t say I’m sad that I keep hearing this from people who have been in the industry.

Go public radio!

People are strange

after downloading an internet radio app I went to WFAN sports radio in NY. and so, while trying to figure out how to store the station in my favs some caller who, mind you, I could not understand a word of what he was saying, nor did I care to, suddenly out of no where dropped probably four continuous f-bombs. yes, they all aired before he was cut-off. why no seven second delay? who knows, maybe those crazy NY sports radio producers love to live life on the edge. ya know, the run with scissors type. so, finally the host, Tony Paige, who is soooo appeasing to his callers just said something about the hour (it was 4am) and the caller was disconnected. Tony moved on.

I always wondered, especially when call volume is high, not in the a.m. like now, but during the day, or especially drive-time, when someone has to wait a long before finally getting through, why would they, what seems to me, waste their time? I guess my title answers my question. I know this is a small thing. but because I’ve listened to sports talk radio for most of my life I’ve always wondered. maybe if I was a caller myself I might have a better guess. but, I suppose for now strange will do.
